The group gave two performances for the students at North Street School. It’s the school the festival’s artistic director Geoffrey Herd attended.

Taking music into area schools has been a part of the Geneva Music Festival since it was founded in 2011. The members of the Cavani String Quartet perform in schools at almost every one of their residencies. The members also teach at the Cleveland Institute of Music and violinist Annie Fullard says that their outreach to elementary schools sometimes comes back to them years later.

The Geneva Music Festival continues through June 18th. A complete schedule is available online at genevamusicfestival.org.
